Roof repair & leak repair
We find where the water is actually getting in and fix the cause, not the stain on your ceiling. Repairs first, when a repair is the right call.
We’re not going to sell you a roof you don’t need.
If you’ve got a leak, we’re not walking in assuming you need a new roof. We’re going to figure out where the water is getting in and what it actually takes to fix it.
Most leaks we find aren’t the shingles at all. They’re the details: a cracked pipe boot, a flashing that was never sealed right, a vent that was nailed through, a valley that was cut short, or a previous patch that just moved the problem a few feet.

Repairs we handle
- Roof leak diagnosis
- Pipe boot replacement
- Step and counter flashing
- Chimney flashing and leaks
- Missing or blown-off shingles
- Roof vents and turbines
- Valleys and wall tie-ins
- Rotted decking replacement
- Ridge and hip repairs
- Skylight leaks
- Storm repairs and tarping
- Fascia and drip edge
How a repair goes
1. We find the entry point. Inside and out. Attic, decking, flashing, penetrations. Water stains on the ceiling are rarely right under the hole.
2. You see it. We take photos of the problem so you understand what you’re paying to fix.
3. We fix the cause. Not a bead of caulk over a bad detail. If the flashing is wrong, we redo the flashing.
4. We tell you what’s next. If the rest of the roof is fine, we say so. If it’s getting close to the end, you’ll know that too, so you can plan for it.
Common questions
How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on what’s wrong, the pitch, the height and what’s underneath. A pipe boot or a few shingles is a small job. Rotted decking, chimney flashing or a valley rebuild is bigger. We inspect first and give you a real number, not a guess over the phone.
Is it worth repairing an older roof?
Sometimes. If the shingles are still flexible and the leak is from a single detail like a pipe boot or flashing, a repair makes sense. If the shingles are brittle, granules are gone and it’s leaking in several places, you’re throwing money at it. We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at. More in our guide: repair or replace?
Can you match my existing shingles?
Often we can get close, especially with common colors. Discontinued shingles and older faded roofs are harder. We’ll tell you up front how close the match will be.
My roof was ‘fixed’ and it still leaks. Can you help?
That’s a lot of what we do. Repeat leaks usually mean the last repair treated the stain on the ceiling instead of the entry point. Water travels. We trace it back to where it’s getting in.
