On older homes in The Colony we commonly find tired decking, poor attic ventilation and flashing that’s been reused through more than one re-roof. Those are the things that cause leaks and short shingle life, and they’re only fixable when the roof is taken down to the deck. We show you photos before we replace anything.

Can you just put new shingles over my old roof?
We don’t recommend it. You can’t see or fix the decking, it adds weight, and it can complicate warranties and insurance claims later. We tear off to the deck.
Do you charge for roof inspections in The Colony?
No. Inspections are free, and you get photos of what we find.
Do you help with hail damage insurance claims?
Yes. We inspect and document the damage, can meet your adjuster on the roof, and write our estimate around what the roof actually needs. See storm damage.
